85 Time-Old Woman Loses Nearly$,000 Via Computer fiddle, Police Say
According to Nassau County Police investigators, a womanish victim, 85, while inside her North Hills hearthstone using her computer, entered a prompt to call a phone number. She called and spoke to an unknown joker claiming to work for Microsoft.
The manly instructed her to go to her original bank branch and transfer$,000(U.S.) to another bank account that he’d handed the information for.
After the transfer was completed, the unknown joker instructed the victim to shoot a dupe of her motorist’s license and the bank damage of the transfer to a phone number that he handed.
