Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 showcase an exciting new design
With the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, Samsung produces some of the best foldable smartphones currently available. With the release of its successors, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, it looks like the trend will continue this year. Today’s leaked renders of the Z Flip 5, which showcase the device’s newly redesigned cover display, follow yesterday’s first look at the former.
Working for the website MediaPeanut is Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known by his Twitter handle Onleaks. The renders show that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have a large cover display with a pretty unique design, which will make it look quite different from its predecessor. The new cover display will be significantly larger and of a different shape, with a tiny tab protruding from the top.
The source claims that the inner display will measure 6.7 inches and the outer display will measure 3.4 inches. To the extent that the size of the telephone, the media source shares that it will generally come in at 165mm x 71.8mm x 6.7mm. While having a bigger screen is always nice, it will be even more important to see how well Samsung uses this new screen space.
