Apple releases iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5 fourth betas to developers [Update: [Available in public beta]

The fourth beta of the upcoming iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5 updates was seeded to developers today for testing. The software was released a week after the third beta.

By opening the Settings app, going to Software Update, tapping on the “Beta Updates” option, and switching on the iOS 16/iPadOS 16 Developer Beta, registered developers can opt in to the betas. Note that an Apple ID related with an engineer account is expected to download and introduce the beta.

The Apple News app now has a Sports tab, making it easier to access content about sports in iOS 16.5. You can decide to follow your #1 groups to get refreshes consistently. Multi-viewing options for sports content and a new Siri option for starting a screen recording with a voice command are also included in the update.
